Maybe this is a crazy idea, but I’m embarking on this journey anyway.
I have a green thumb. I love all my plants…both indoor and outdoor. I have a vegetable garden, fruit trees, grapes, blueberries, and cacti. Indoors I have more varieties of cacti, air plants, orchids, violets, spider plants, ivy, and an out-of-control aloe plant.
…but I have never grown cannabis. I don’t know why, I just haven’t.
So, here’s an early New Year’s resolution….I am going to learn to grow the most beautiful and exotic pot plants imaginable. And, I am going to share my journey with you. I hope you will stop by and check in on my progress. I promise to share the good and the bad, the successes and the oops, and perhaps a few lessons learned and definitely lots of photos.
So, today is Day #1. Soaking my Seeds.
I have some amazing seeds from Mosca Seeds. I have
and I am ready to wake them up. I read that a 24 hour soak in water and hydrogen peroxide would improve my germination percentage. So that is the plan.
From what I have read, the soaking improves the oxygen consumption yielding a better chance of sprouting. I am soaking in a solution of 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 6 parts water. I used filtered water (Berkey gravity filter) so there are no contaminants and no chlorine.
My journey has begun. I am very excited…but I have some supplies I need to purchase.
I off to make ready for my sprouts…
Back soon,
Chloe
